Los tesoros del museo

The collection of Pre-Hispanic metals of the MNAAHP includes more than 12 thousand pieces elaborated in different metals -gold, silver, cooper and different alloys- manufactured between the Early Horizon (900 BC - 200 BC) to the Late Horizon (1476 AD- 1534 AD). The catalogue presents in chronological order a selection of more than 100 pieces. Includes a section of the history of the museum collection and brief texts on the acquisition and the implementation of the conservation and restoration laboratory.
