Abstract: A text for recovering alcoholics focuses on nutritional disorders encountered by alcoholics, controversies regarding nutritional treatment of alcoholism, and a diet proposed by the author to aid in the recovery process. Five appendices, which discuss drugs, recommended dietary allowances, vitamin dosages, and alcohol's effect on the body. References, a reading list and index are also included. (kbc).
