The book explores the homogeneity and otherwise in the English stress use among the Nigerians represented by the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba speakers of of English. The outcome of the book is as a result of rigorously collected data among 901 respondents across Nigeria and the United Kingdom. The methodology included formulated Research Questions and Hypotheses, which were analysed by the Analysis of Covariance and Duncan's Multiple Range Test. Visi-Pitch Machine was also used to to test the data. To provide the scientific evidence of the identified stress pattern, the computer Software named PRAAT (Version 4.404) was employed for the acoustic analysis.
