Sister Eva of Friedenshort

This is the biography, written by Anne Whistler, who worked for a movement of deaconesses in S E Germany and Poland. She writes about the inspiring life of Eva Tiele Winckler (1866-1930), who founded the order. Sister Eva was born into a wealthy aristocratic family living in what is now a suburb of Katowice in Poland, which was then a part of Germany. Her work was mainly in caring for mentally and physically handicapped children.
