This is a techno-adventure book. It seems it is about a down and out guy who stumbles onto a perpetual motion machine. He gets in deep in spite of his own problems. Basically, the world starts coming at him from all directions. Ultimately, it is not about the machine but the man. What would you do if you had a way to free us from the gas pump? Well, this answers that question in an interesting way.
