This book is a copy of the "field book" or "clerks copy" for the proprietors of the Old Town Second General Pasture, with lots to the east of Little River and by Pine Island. The record has been altered to serve someone's own needs as per the 1st page. See the original record in the Newbury Town Hall for a true copy as the clerk was required to record all business in the Proprietors Book to make it so.
