La imagen como pensamiento

Our main interest in conceiving the "1st International Forum of Visual Studies: the image as thought" finds its roots in the urgency to think about the implications of the image today. The book proposes a critical discourse of contemporary visually, based on the questions raised then, but fundamentally, proposing new displacements and questioning that concern our current coordinates of time and space. The image as thought appears as well as a vast field for the study of the visual culture and as a key of opening for the debate on the purpose of the image and its epistemological possibilities.
