Bartolomeo Bosko - genuėzskiĭ i︠u︡rist XIV-XV vekov

Based on primary sources held by the Genoa State Archives, the author examines the career of the 14th-/early 15th-century jurist Bartolomeo Bosko, focusing on the theory and practice of the civil trial, the relationship between the court and state authorities in Medieval Genoa, adherence to and interpretation of laws, and the role of the jurist in the society of that era. Bosko's views are compared with his contemporaries elsewhere in Italy.
