89-year-old spinster Janet Souter has hatched a scandalous plan to test her two nephews and decide who is worthy of inheriting her wealth. Informing them of her recently acquired arsenic, she plants the seeds of murderous intent without putting her own life at risk, and the nephew who plots to kill her will receive the money.
