Mathematical Theory of Elasticity

This is an excellent text book on the theory of elasticity with tensor notation. A student does not any special prior preparation in using the tensor notation as the use as its use has been maintained at a minimal level. If one works through this book, one realizes the clarity of the physical concepts brought about by means of the mathematical procedures.
