She found a real link between love and hate. Anne Hemming was not the type to hate anyone, but the morning Mr. Jerome angrily fired her she certainly came close. For every bad, however, there is a good, and Anne heard of a small inheritance with which she resolved to take a long luxurious holiday in the Lake District.
