About This Book

Many of the revolutionaries are non-white and/or from other countries: Harriet Tubman, Louise Michel, Vera Zasulich, Emma Goldman, Qiu Jin (Ch'iu Chin), Nora Connolly O'Brien, Lucia Sanchez Saornil, Eva Ricard, Angela Davis, Leila Khaled, Comandante Ramona, and Phoolan Devi.
