Oviedo

A major monograph dedicated to the extraordinary art of master painter and designer Ramón Oviedo (b. Dominican Republic 1927), considered one of the most symbolic Caribbean painters. The book analyses his artistic evolution in style, texture, form and colors from his mysterious blue (or monochromatic) abstract-figurative paintings to his present exotic existentialism creations "where master Oviedo decants and mixes the fiction with the social, mythical and psychological reality."
