Grandma Moses

Ordinarily, art lovers would view the paintings of Anna Mary Robertson Moses the same as those of Giotto, Raphael, or Michelangelo. Most likely, her paintings would be criticized and look childish compared to such famous artists. The most amazing thing about Mrs. Moses' work is when she produced it. She did not even think of beginning to paint until she was well into her late-seventies, granting her the nickname, Grandma Moses.
