One in a series of mystery novels about a fictional police commissioner, Al Kluftinger, who lives in Altusried, Allgäu, Germany. In his latest case, an unidentified man is shot and killed while fleeing the Austrian police. The dead man was suspected of planning a terrorist attack on an unknown location. Kluftinger must work together with colleagues from Austria. Kluftinger does not have enough time to go around because he is also commited to completing a dance course with his wife and two friends and attending the dress rehearsals of an open-air production of "William Tell" in which he plays a part.
