Using digitally restored page images of four books of which were first published in 1919, 1918, 1909 and 1917 based on the life of **James Akin Jr.** written by himself during his travels across the Plains by covered wagon. Letters and notes by **Ruth Wolfe Fuller** during the First World War to her husband. Wartime experiences of **Samuel Richards** as a soldier during the Revolutionary War and personal letters from **Coningsby Dawson** to his family during World War I are presented complete and uncut from the original versions. Also included in this edition is rare biographical info that has never been published previously in other books or magazine articles.
