The Break in the Circle

Handsome, trigger-sharp and cynical, Alan Morgan had been driven outside the law by circumstances which denied him his heritage. Now he is willing and eager to pit himself against society. But, though Morgan was technically a criminal, he regarded himself as a talented amateur until a routine job of smuggling became an international cause celeb-re.

It began simply enough. Morgan was hired to go into Germany, find a man and bring him back to England. But from the start this project was unorthodox. For one thing, Morgan knew his employer was lying. For another, he began to fall in love.

The girl was Linda Ward-Hamilton, loving almost against her will, drawn irresistibly to the dark and lonely figure of Alan Morgan. and when Alan's trim, fast launch pulled away from England, Linda was secretly aboard.
