East-West Center

The East-West Center is an internationally recognized education and research organization established by the U.S. Congress to strengthen understanding and relations between the United States and the countries of the Asia Pacific region. The Center helps promote the establishment of a stable, peaceful and prosperous Asia Pacific community in which the United States is a natural, valued and leading partner. As mandated by the Congress, the Center carries out its mission through programs of cooperative study, training and research.
