Upon their return to Crag Cottage on the Hudson River, Evelyn gives birth to a daughter, and Grandma Elsie is now great-grandmother to little Mary Raymond. The whole family enjoys a round of gatherings in honor of the new baby and her proud parents. Unfortunately Ned Raymond finds himself in trouble again, and this time it is Dr. Harold Travilla who comes to the rescue.
