This business of love

When Cathy Arensen was transferred from Hollywood to midtown Manhattan as a temporary producer for the soap opera Search for Love, she knew she had her work cut out for her.

Salvaging the plummeting ratings was one thing; working with executive producer Steve Bronsky was another. The last thing he wanted to do was listen to her suggestions for saving his show--and his electric male appeal made it almost impossible to concentrate. Then Steve decided Cathy should work one on one with him.

Cathy knew that being "partners" with the producer wasn't part of her contract. But then neither was falling in love.
