About This Book

The title of this piece, Three and Three-Quarters, is not meant as some hidden cryptic message, but simply that of three performers getting together for some musical fun in three-quarter time. It is a lighthearted work, hence the subtitle “A Trivial Trifle.”

This musical composition is part of a multi-title series of works for unaccompanied instrumental trio. It is available for flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba. It is written so that parts can be mixed if need be. There is a separate stand-alone version for french horn that cannot be combined with the other instruments.
