About This Book

There isn't much to the town of Climax, it's just another of those dusty, wind-blown communities biding its time until the desert reclaims it. The town has a saloon, of course, a restaurant and a tiny bank. It also has a town marshal named Giles Frost who seems an unnecessary expenditure. With the town of Climax not needing his services, Frost is let go to make his way out onto the desert with his horse and rifle - but that is the signal the gathering outlaw gang has been waiting for. They want Climax and mean to make it their hideout - an outlaw town without law where they rule the roost while honest citizens hide away in their homes. By the time word of this reaches Giles Frost and he determines to return to Climax - it will be one man against the hundred guns of a renegade army.--Cover.
