About This Book
This issue begins the new school year with reflections on the history of the O. A. C. Articles address the founding of the Ontario School of Agriculture and Experimental Farm to the innovations made by its faculty and alumni. Included in these articles are etchings and photographs of the original campus. Alumnus T. H. Mason provides brief biographies of the faculty and students who attended the opening year of the college. Departmental updates are reported by the following departments, animal husbandry, English, entomology and zoology, chemistry, and farm mechanics. Continued in this issue are the two series on Canadian literature, and the great musicians. A student provides his account of being an Ontario fire ranger. The Alumni column contains alumni and alumnae updates. This issue does not contain a Macdonald column.
