About This Book

Descendents of John Royer and Ann Taylor, married 16 June 1792 in Augusta County, Virginia. They were in Jefferson County, Tennessee, in the early years of the 1800's and moved to Lawrence/Morgan counties in Alabama before 1820. Two sons, Charles and John jr., listed in the 1820 state census of Lawrence County, Alabama. Charles Royer stayed in Morgan County while John jr. moved to Franklin County, alabama. Charles Royer and Darcus Daniel had two sons and six daughters. Darcus Daniel died in 1833 and Charles Royer married Sarah Moore. Charles and Sarah had three sons and two daughters. Other surnamed include: Putman, Russell, Cross, McCaghren, Cooper, Hocket, Bodery, Condron, Kirby, Robinson, Long, Taylor, Daniel, Walters, McWhorter, Cornelius, Stover, Wiley, Norris, Puckett, and Denton.
