Published in 1894, The World's Rail Way is a collector's item, and definitely in the "They don't make 'em like this anymore" category. Major Pangborn, an officer of the B&O in her heyday, was responsible for the impressive railway exhibit shown at the Columbian Exhibition of 1893 in Chicago. To the scale models, drawings and relics he gathered together for the Exhibition he added the fervor of a railroad buff and the expertise of a railroad executive.
