About This Book

Paperback book glued together at the spine. The covers are light green with white, yellow, and dark green accents. There is mild discoloration along the edges, and the flag and flagpole on the front cover has been colored in with a pencil. The title and a full-page image of the Seaside Turnaround with summer visitors is on the front cover. The back cover has a Postage Paid white square in the upper right corner. It says, "Take Life Easy With An Extension Telephone in Every Room You Use A Lot; Choose from eight attractive colors. Extension phones are a real convenience...low in cost...less than a nickel a day. Call your telephone business office." Pictured in a yellow circle is a wall rotary phone and a desk rotary phone. The lower half of the back cover is cut into four squares: a bedroom with a woman in bed talking on the phone, a kitchen with a woman in an apron talking on the phone, a woman lying on a patio chair talking on the phone, and a man talking on the phone while playing ping pong with a woman. There is a 0.5" yellow line going around both covers. On each cover, inside the yellow line it says, "See The Classified In This Directory; Its Yellow Pages Tell You Where To Buy It." There is also an illustration of an open book in the center of the line on both sides that has the words, "Yellow Pages" inside it. This book has a hole punched in the upper left corner.
