About This Book

Brief historical introduction to Glang-nag monastery (a.k.a. Tre-hor Glang-sna Dgon) of the Sakya (Tib. Sa-skya-pa) tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is located in Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (Tib. Dkar-mdzes), Sichuan Province, also known as Kham (Tib. Khams), and reportedly established by Phakpa (Phags-pa) in 1276; also includes ritual for the offering of bsangs to the protective and local deities of the Sa-skya-pa tradition.
