A bibliography for the Gospel of Mark, 1954-1980

This bibliography for the Gospel of Mark provides an index to the journal articles, essay in collected works, and books published since 1954 and through 1980 (a few titles for the early part of 1981 are incidentally included). Works by scholars, for scholars, and in scholarly journals-- the results of more than a quarter century of study of the Markan gospel-- comprise the biggest part of the Bibliography; but included also are materials written to interpret that scholarship for a wider audience.
