Arquitectura escolar contemporánea en Colombia

The emergence and development of "place architecture" in Colombia is closely connected to projects of school architecture designed by those who are considered to be the masters of contemporary Colombian architecture. The projects selected in this book show the intrinsic pedagogical character of architecture through its spatial relations with the actions -especially collective- that potentialize them. The text studies the evolution from a conjuncture in which new pedagogies, ideals of Colombian culture, respond with construction programs that concur social and cultural aspects.
