Adriana Salazar Vélez coordinates a book that interrogates the origin of water, the care we give it, the waste, its scarcity, Through concepts such as civilization, growth, development, modernization and other derivations, a flat city was forcefully fitted on a basin whose waters always converge in lakes. The lake waters were valued through a series of adjectives that were not their own: excessive, overflowing, residual, therefore, imposing ways of control over which in itself resisted to being controlled.
