Dinah and Virginia

Eleven-year-old Dinah gets her first horse, a bay mare named Virginia. Like Black Beauty, Virginia is a BTDT horse, only she lives in the 20th century, in the United States. And, unlike Black Beauty, Virginia talks, but only to Dinah. She teaches Dinah to ride, and together they compete in the big show.
