This book contains all the illus. of the Fabrica (incl. the title-pages of the 1543 and 1555 editions), and the Epitome. The plates are printed from the original wood blocks by J.S. v. Calcar, 227 of which were loaned by the University of Munich Library and one by the University of Louvain; 50 were reproduced by the photographic process; printed by Dr. W.
