*Invisible Powers of the Metaphysical World* provides insight into the Yoruban worldview regarding certain metaphysical issues. This book examines the role of women in Yoruba society, especially that category of women referred to as awon iya mi (my mysterious mothers) often called witches. It proposes that these women are not total embodiment of evil as they are often portrayed. They can even assist in helping humans to realize their desires.
