Kan Vizhiththa Kanakam

This is a novel based on the life and times of the tribal hero Birsa Bhagwan who waged a war against the British and other exploiters, proselytisers organising his people at the fag end of Nineteenth century. He lived in today's Jharkand state in India, predominantly tribal. Birsa died in the prison, remanded to be tried for treason. He was just 30 when he died.
