African-American Family Life

Rosalind Stanley wrote with passion and compassion in response to the current research on African American marriages & families. African Americans have a heritage of trusting God and walking by faith. Many African American ancestors were devout in their faith in God, choosing to live godly lives. Others chose religion over relationship with God which has led to a critical breakdown in marriage & family relationships within the African American community at large. The author is passionate in her plea and determination that "It's time to get it back!"
