The Big Thicket

This is a narrative poem about the obsessive pursuit of a runaway slave in the East Texas forest known as the "Big Thicket." Dust jacket is illustrated by New England poet Robert P. Tristram Coffin who also contributed an introduction. Publication was the prize in a poetry competition held under the auspices of the Corpus Christi Fine Arts Colony.
