Coopératives et mondes agricoles

This book analyzes the comparative routes of agricultural cooperatives in France and Italy, from the end of the 19th century to the 1950s. Contrary to a history traditionally centered on the institutional and political aspects of the cooperative movement, this volume focuses on forms of economic and social organization of the countryside as a means of enlightening the practices of the farmers-cooperators.
