A description of the participation of Ukrainian attorneys in political trials in Eastern Galicia from 1921 to 1939, based on archival and printed sources. (Now in Ukraine, Eastern Galicia was part of Poland during this period.) Much attention is given to the development of ethical relations among attorneys and to the issue of immunity for attorneys.
