Blockade and jungle

A nicely readable personal narrative derived from the diaries of Nis Kock, a Danish sailor who served with the German cruiser SMS Konigsberg off East Africa in the early part of World War 1. Most of the crew of the Konigsberg served the war out in the ground forces of Paul Von Lettow-Vorbeck after the Konigsberg was sunk in the Rufjii delta by blockading British naval units.
