This book was written by Henry Morton Dunham in the last year of his life from his home in New London, Connecticut. It was written entirely by memory, was completed a week before he passed and was submitted for publishing by his beloved wife, Helen Hammond Dunham. It is a charming, self-effacing, well written account of the most memorable moments of his childhood, life as a musician, composer and professor at the New England Conservatory of Music.
