A forerunner of the enlightenment in Spain

Based on a study of a Spanish resume of a series of articles published by the *Journal de savants* of the sevnteenth-century, and a comparison with the content of *Sinapia*, the editor, Stelio Cro, suggests that these "notes", together with a list of books missing from the author's library, a list which is included, are from the same anonymous author of *Sinapia*.
