Greenland lies between North America and Iceland/Europe. From both continents people came here, settled and lived their lives in the often-harsh Arctic conditions. They left valuable traces of themselves and their view of their surroundings. Some are beautiful, some are exciting, some are rare, some are ordinary, but they are all about life in Greenland. Each page of this book presents evidence of life in Greenland over a period of almost 4400 years.
