Governing the Moon

In 1979, the Agreement Governing the Activities of States on the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies, also known as the Moon Treaty, was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly. Negotiated over a decade, the treaty was not ultimately ratified. In this monograph entitled Governing the Moon: A History, author Stephen S.
