About This Book
Gösta Diehl (1899?1964) ranks among Finland's leading modernists. Diehl spent long sojourns in France, where he absorbed influences from French modernism. His career peaked in the 1950s as a member of the acclaimed Prisma group of international modernists, whose work was characterized by the intense use of colour. This book is the first major biographical work chronicling the life and career of Gösta Diehl.
