This book is a catalogue of photo documents from the Tobolsk Historical-Architectural Museum Resort.They were taken by Grigory M. Dmitriev-Sadovnikov in 1912 in the basin of Vakh River,tributary to Ob' river, the territory inhabited by the Khanty - indigenous people of the Western Siberia. It contains both the photos, their detailed description as well as information about how an item depicted was used and technology for its production. Many of these photo documents are published for the first time. The book is intended for scholars, indigenous people of North-Western Siberia and the general public interested in the history and culture of the region.
