Mughal Glory

There is grandeur in the quickened beating of the heart-whether that extra pace is spurred by love, loyalty, honour, ambition, chivalry, heroism, or even by wild courage. It is the grandeur of the human heart that Muni Lal has sought to capture in this work. The twenty "moving moments" spotlighted here in the form of short stories reveal tellingly some touching aspects or other of the characters of Mughal kings and queens as also of the nobility of the age. These facets of their personalities had remained hidden, by and large, in the smoke and stir of their stormy lives.
