"Bonifatti, Moretti, and Watson are the characters around whom Sarasueta de Jordán weaves a tale of intrigue and corruption. The novel fictionalizes the assassination of a man reminiscent of John F. Kennedy, although in this version he has 12 sons. This thriller ultimately fizzles, and readers are subjected to moralizing and a loyalty to a main character with no flaws.
