Poems for the course of study, South Dakota

<u>Poems For the Course of Study</u> was created to serve as a poetry curriculum for rural elementary schools in South Dakota. The poems are organized by grade level. It went through a several of printings starting in the 1930's with reprints and revisions into the 1960's. While I seem to recall seeing an early copy with green binding, most of the copies I've seen have a red binding.
