About This Book

In 1866, Lauritz Mathias Christen Christensen and his new wife, Elsie Kathrine Anderson along with other family members left Denmark. They arrived in Salt Lake City some six months later and eventually settled in Sanpete County. Their son, Andrew (1869-1931) became an educator in The Church system. Descendants include Mormons who lived mainly in the West.
