About This Book

This study focused on the respondents' partisan preferences, political participation, and attitudes on political issues. The respondents were asked about problems in society and in their localities. In addition, the respondents were asked to assess the performance of the political parties. The data were collected in conjunction with the 1971 elections for the Second Chamber of Parliament. Interviews were conducted with a national sample of registered voters.
